A Bizarre special offer!
It gives me a lovely warm feeling to know that all my hard work here is remembered, and that even after 16 months, the fact that last year I tried to run a "Fantastic 2 for 3 offer!" is still brought up to much hilarity. I'd even made little rubber stamp graphics and gleefully stamped them on items around the website. So for several hours last year we were offering you the fantastic opportunity to get two of our accessories for the price of three! *sigh* I blame my mild dyslexia, and not my underlying stupidity.
Anyway, I was going somewhere with this, and that bargainous destination is that we are currently running a Christmas 3 for 2 offer through our Facebook page. So drop by and place an order!
If taking advantage of a Christmas offer in November offends your sensibilities, how about searching out a copy of Octobers Bizarre magazine where we are featured on their Bizarre Treats page with a special deal which is running until the end of November. So act quickly!
One last thing to mention is that we will be holding a stall at the Festival of Sins in the Purple Turtle in Camden on Saturday 12th December. If you're near London, come along, enjoy the evening and come and say hi to us on the stall!

Closed for Whitby
Hi there!
Just a quick note because we're frantically busy at this end, making the many, many pre-orders for our stall at Whitby Gothic Weekend. Pre-orders have been so popular this year we have had to break out Zombie Scarlett! for an extra pair of hands to make the actual stall stock!
... Wait, what? We don't have one?!
Good lord!
You mean thats actual Scarlett working all those hours?!
If she took an hourly wage we'd be in trouble! I mean... well done Scarlett! You're doing us proud!
Anyway, before I get side-tracked, I'm here to tell you that the online shop wont be processing any orders between Tuesday 27th October and Monday 9th November. Feel free to place orders, Email us, post us bits of fluff, all the usual things you do, between now and then, and we will respond accordingly when we return on 9th.

Summertime rolls
Well, it’s been a few months since the last news update, but as you can see from the website, we’ve been extremely busy getting some of the new patterned accessories into the shop. We have so much still to shoot and get up there as well! All while keeping on top of the steady stream of orders and the exciting custom items we currently have in the pipeline, we've been working all of the hours! It’s lucky we love doing this so much!
I’m still desperately trying to find some time to devote to the garment ranges for the shop, but I seem to be swimming against the current.
With no Infest this year, which is usually a large time-sink for us, we had planned and are still planning to use the time to progressing the garment ranges we have at design stage, but I must have blinked there somewhere and suddenly we’re part way into August!
The Skin Two Northern ball last month was fantastic. If you weren't there, you missed a great night. The place was packed with throngs of beautiful and amazingly dressed people, and aside from the temperature that comes with a busy event like that, the evening was flawless. They’ve given us the date for next years event and we’ll definitely be there again, although we should be putting on a fashion show at the next one.
We are also on Twitter these days. Let us know who you are if you tweet and we’ll hook up and exchange banal inconsequentialities. I may have made that word up.

Sketch to stretch and Lickorishlatex Speculative Fashion!
Well, we’re beavering away here at Lickorishlatex, trying to find the time to get some of our exciting new designs from sketch to stretch as it were. But as ever, you’re keeping us delightfully busy!
We’re also working on more items in our new Speculative Fashion range. This is a line of fantastic steampunk accessories for the discerning gentlemen of progressive fashion. If you came to our stall at the Whitby Gothic Weekend in April, you will have seen, and may even already be wearing some of these items. But I wont say anything more until we have them up in the web shop.
I appreciate this is fairly short notice, but if any of you are at the Leipzig WGT this month, you can find a large number of Lickorishlatex accessories for sale on the Allycat and Cyberdog stall. So, if you happen to be sat reading this over a coffee in an internet café in Leipzig (I know, it’s a long shot) pop over to the market and say hi from us!
One last thing I almost forgot to mention - you may have noticed we've got some Skin Two fetish yearbooks for this year on sale in the shop. There's a load of excellent content in there, unmissable for anyone wanting to know about fetish events happening around the globe this year and tons of editorial and pictures. If you've got yours already, have a flick through and chuckle at the photo of me and Jo on the Lickorishlatex stall! That's 4 publications Jo has been in so far this year, including the Guardian, and much to my hilarity - the Big Issue. I'm expecting a call from Max Clifford any time now.

An exhausting couple of months
Wow! March already?! How did that happen?
Things are screaming along here at Lickorishlatex, at breakneck speed.
We’ve had four photo shoots over the last 6 weeks and another in a couple of weeks; our shop has had its busiest ever month; we have two new garments in the process of appearing in the shop (the Savannah top and hobble skirt as can be seen in Ruby’s gallery set); we’re elbow-deep into the mammoth task of making stock for the Whitby Gothic Weekend in April; we have a photo shoot and an article in the upcoming Latextra - the Skin Two free latex magazine; then we have another couple of model shoots straight after Whitby. *Phew!* I’m exhausted just writing about it all.
Were I to wear a hat, I’d be clinging on to it right now.
And then there’s the Skin Two North summer ball! All extremely exciting. Have a read about that in our current Feature article.
Jo has just asked me to mention that we’re taking pre-orders to be collected from our stall at the Whitby Gothic Weekend in April. So if there’s anything you would like us to have in stock, drop us an Email and for a 10% deposit we’ll make one for you to collect from the stall.
Hopefully that’s it for the news for March and April. If anything else exciting happens you can find me hiding under the bed.
