New Gallery-style additions to the shop

Happy new year to you all!

We have so much planned for this year, with new designs and all the events we want to try and get out to, but the most imminent of these are our gallery-style photo-shoots of our items.

I should really give you some background information here, that when we first decided to set up this internet shop we made the decision to aim to create as un-cluttered, clear and visually direct shop as possible. Favouring photo's distinctly showing each item, over galleries of elaborately staged scenes which are beautiful yet barely show the items they're intended to sell.

This was mainly because we were very conscious that unlike our customers at the Lickorishlatex stalls, you, our new Internet customers, could not instantly appreciate how beautiful and consistently well made every Lickorishlatex item is. You can't take it out of the packet to try it on, or pop to a changing room leaving your boyfriend as collateral.

So we decided that until the time came when we had asserted our position in the marketplace, and you already knew when entering the shop that every item was beautiful and consistently well-made (without the need for packet removal or boyfriend abandoning), we should take the no-frills approach. Neat, tidy, crystal clarity.

Well, with many of you now being return customers, and so many of the new people we meet on the alternative scene having heard of Lickorishlatex, we've decided the time has come to begin adding some model gallery pages for you to see our items on beautiful girls.

The first trial gallery is already up there, with the classic style of Miss Ruby Fortune, with more to come from this point onwards.

Kinky (Leeds) and Kinkdom (Huddersfield)

These are very exciting times here at Lickorishlatex, and we have mountains of brand new designs we're trying to find the time to get photographed and into the shop!

Some of these designs will be getting their first outing this Saturday 6th December, at our first fashion show taking place at Kinky, Leed's new and most unconventional fetish night!

In addition to the fashion show, we will be manning (and womanning) the Lickorishlatex stall at Kinky all evening, so come along and say hello.

Staying true to its unconventional ethos, Kinky is open from 5pm until 10pm, so make sure you don't miss it!

Kinkdom Fetish Fair stall
The Lickorishlatex stall will also be at the Kinkdom fetish market in Huddersfield on Sunday 7th December between 1pm and 6pm.

The Fetish Fair is a large market of around 20 alternative and fetish stalls, and is the start of a day and night-long, and feature-filled Alternative Lifestyle event.

Infest 2008 and the impending Customer Gallery

We hope you all had as much fun at Infest as we did, and have now had time to completely recover from your excesses!

Thanks to all who were there for making the event as successful for us as it was! So many amazing compliments about our creations, and so so so many of you beautiful people wearing them by the end of the weekend!

In fact, following Infest, as we are always so thrilled to see people wearing our creations, we've been inspired to create a customer gallery which will live somewhere here on our website.

So, if you have any pictures of yourself or friends wearing something we have made, please Email them to us, telling us where and when the picture was taken, and become a part of our website! :D
